VIV AFRICA 2022:
A PROVEN TRACK RECORD

With over 120 exhibiting companies from 30 countries, the third edition of VIV Africa was the biggest so far. The enriched conference program covered several sectors within the poultry production chain. Topics as biosecurity in farming, water management, food security and animal health received extra attention.

The event is truly a Sub-Saharan platform, with visitors from Rwanda, Nigeria, Uganda, Kenya, Ghana, Ethiopia but also South-Africa, Sudan, etc. This year, the show welcomed around 1,600 visitors, decision-makers, and buyers.

VIV Africa started in 2017 as a biennial B2B international trade show, bringing the Feed to Food concept to the poultry industries in Sub-Saharan Africa. After a second edition in 2019 and a third edition in 2022 that attracted more around 1600 confirmed attendees and solidified VIV Africa’s grasp in the region, the show returns in 2024 at the Kigali Convention Centre (KCC) in Kigali, Rwanda on 2-3 October. Preceeding the Expo, the Leadership Conference will take place on 1 October.

VIV Africa 2022 connected the visiting industry professionals with over 120 suppliers from Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and America. Topics to be covered include feed, feed ingredients and additives, compound feed milling equipment, feed milling, animal health, pharmaceutical products and ingredients, breeding and hatching, genetics, farm management systems, farm production, slaughtering, processing and handling (food engineering).
