NABC contributes to an Africa that is economically thriving and globally competitive in trade and investment. Our focus is on building consortia with Dutch companies that jointly enter the market, while developing the local private sector with local partners in our 15 focus countries. We do this in close cooperation with our 250 member companies.

WPSA

The World’s Poultry Science Association is a long established and unique organization that strives to advance knowledge and understanding of all aspects of poultry science and the poultry industry. Its major role is to encourage, and help facilitate, liaison amoung research scientists and educators, and between those in research and education and those working in the many diverse sectors of the industry. As a non-profit marking organization, it relies for its income almost entirely on membership subscriptions, although a number of poultry ompanies around the world provide generous sponsorship to help meet some of the production costs of the World’s Poultry Science Journal.

Traide

TRAIDE Rwanda is a trade facilitation program that aims to increase sustainable trade and investments between the Rwanda and the Netherlands. The program is funded by the Dutch government. The program is active in Rwanda since 2019 and works in different sectors such as agriculture, renewable energy and digitalization. TRAIDE Rwanda provides on-the-ground and practical support for new and existing businesses, for example with identifying business opportunities or matchmaking. Africa Agribusiness Academy

The Africa Agribusiness Academy (AAA)  stimulates and supports entrepreneurship toward increased food security in Africa. Founded in 2010, the AAA is a pan-African business platform for small and medium-sized agrifood enterprises (SMEs). These AAA member companies share and pool their knowledge and experiences, collaborate and form partnerships, support one another and provide inspiration and guidance for current and up-and-coming agribusinesses, inside and outside of the network. AAA is currently active in 6 countries; Uganda, Malawi, Kenya, Rwanda, Ethiopia and Tanzania.

Vetworks

Vetworks is an independent team of selected veterinary experts with broad international expertise in poultry production.
We maintain a broad network in Belgium and abroad consisting of key opinion leaders and decision-makers including individuals from industrial, academic, veterinary and pharmaceutical communities. Vetworks aims for an integrated approach to poultry production.
Our consultants are specialized in auditing smaller and larger breeder, layer and broiler operations, with focus on management and veterinary aspects of the production. Vetworks provides technical support, business development support to the poultry Industry.

Ministry of Agriculture in Rwanda

The Ministry of Agriculture and Animal Resources (MINAGRI) has the mission of promoting the sustainable development of a modern, efficient and competitive agriculture and livestock sector, in order to ensure food security, agriculture export and diversification of the productions for the benefit of the farmer and the economy of the Country.

The vision of the Ministry, as defined by the National Agricultural Policy (2018), is for Rwanda to become “a nation that enjoys food security, nutritional health and sustainable agricultural growth from a productive, green and market-led agricultural sector.”

The World Veterinary Poultry Association (WVPA) is a global professional association for poultry veterinarians and other avian health professionals.

WVPA is run by an elected Executive and holds a Global Congress every two years. Its members come from all around the world and are in academia, research, government, industry and practice.

Rwanda Poultry Industry Association (R.P.I.A)

The Rwanda Poultry Industry Association (R.P.I.A) is a non-profit organization, founded in 2012 by the Poultry Value Chain (private sector) actors. It is a member of the Chamber of Agriculture and livestock (RCAL) of Rwanda Private Sector Federation (PSF).

R.P.I.A was founded after realizing that the poultry industry in Rwanda was still young and faces many challenges while it has huge potential to transform the livelihoods of many Rwandans in terms of food security, nutrition, and income.
